Harvest Youth Ministry

What a privilege we are afforded to meet each week with the next generation! Jesus continually gathered with people so as a youth group try to emulate the example that Jesus set. In the Gospel of John, Jesus taking the very nature of a servant and washing the feet of others. We too should be the same way with those we are around. We try to be a light to both those we know, and those we don’t.

Youth group is a place that you belong no matter if your family attends Harvest or not. Jesus included people from all walks of life and we share in that heartbeat at Harvest. Each week we spend time diving into God’s Word, seeking what it means to be a follower of Him. Matthew 10 talks about going out and sharing the Good News so we encourage the youth to do the same – applying their faith in their everyday day life.

Just like our relationship with Jesus should be much more than one day or a few minutes a week, we try to gather together as much as we can. That may be for of a fun event like Kings Island or it may look like attending one of our student’s sporting events. It might even look like just meeting up for coffee and talking about the struggles of life.
