Harvest Christian Fellowship

Growing spiritually doesn’t happen when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we apply what he says. Application happens best within the context of community. To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally.

At Harvest, you will find support, friendship, and encouragement. Our desire is discipleship; equipping one another to live lives of intentionality.

At Harvest we believe in the importance of relationship and sharing life together. We also are guided by 4 essential pillars laid forth in the Bible. These are:

  • STUDY
  • WORSHIP
  • PRAYER
  • FELLOWSHIP

Read on to learn more about these pillars and what makes them critical areas of our faith.

Study

God’s word is absolute truth. At Harvest, we stand on God’s word and we want to know it. We seek to spend time STUDYING the word of God and also want to share it with others.

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is Alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

Worship

The Bride exists to glorify the Groom. Harvest is a testimony to Jesus and WORSHIP is what we value. We desire to lift high the name of Jesus; knowing that when He is lifted up, He draws all people to Himself. A church that does not worship Jesus is not glorifying to God

Prayer

God cares about you. He walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the garden in the cool of the day. At Harvest, we seek to walk and talk with God. God said this: “My house will be called a place of PRAYER.” We want our church to be His house where conversations between us and God flow freely. We pray for one another and believe God hears and answers our prayers.

Fellowship

Acts 2:42 says “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to  the breaking of bread and prayer.” As the early church did, we seek to be devoted to one another. We value relationship and sharing life. At Harvest, we know we are stronger together than on our own. We are the bride of Christ and it pleases Jesus when we share the life He has given us with one another.
